Tuesday was Big Bird’s birthday!
It also happened to be the first day of spring, but that is not nearly as important! Okay, maybe it is. I love spring… not that we had much of a winter in Southern California (yes, I realize that is an oxymoron – San Diego winter). Everything starts to bloom, and the days start to get longer again. The air is filled with hope … and pollen.
This is the season of my favorite candy in the whole world: Cadbury Creme Eggs! (Not a sponsored post, but could be!!!! Call me, Cadbury Bunny!)

It is time to look forward and see all the possibilities in front us. From replenishing the soil and planting new seedlings to harvest this summer to seeing if my spring/summer wardrobe from last year still fits.
I am definitely one that takes spring cleaning to heart. I go through my entire home (my WHOLE one bedroom condo), and reassess every item to see if I still want/need it. Charities are recipients of big bags of stuff as I do this. I make a list of what needs to be repaired and even do some of them! This year I am giving myself a treat: maid service! I’ve never used one before. It just seemed like an excessive luxury. I bought the daily deal last year at a great price when I was needing a pick me up, and I will be taking advantage of it as soon as my clutter clear is gone. What a complete clean feel that will bring! [Yes, it is a bribe to make sure the cleaning is done in a timely manner … like still in Spring!]
